Where Have I Been?

1. I have given up on uni already and relocated to join a distant African tribe, where internet connection is but a far-flung myth, rendering me physically unable to post on LJ/tell you all my whereabouts.
2. I have been overloaded with piles and piles of work despite only having eight hours of lectures a week and thought it was still October since I haven't looked up from my poetry essays for the past ten weeks.
3. I hit my head on a falling brick and forgot how to speak, meaning I've had to spend the last ten weeks communicating by hitting a saucepan with a wooden spoon and relearning English.
4. I realised that I secretly despised all of you and have been trying to ditch you all in a subtle way. I have since changed my mind and decided that you have your uses.
5. I'M BASICALLY RUBBISH,SORRYSORRYSORRYILU I'MSTILLALIVE ♥

* I'm now home for Christmas ^__^ so should have a bit more time for being, you know, present. I have two essays for over the holidays which I planned to get out of the way asap, but on the first night I meant to work I was abducted by two of my friends and literally carried out of my house to go and watch period dramas, so who knows how that'll work out.

* TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOU, PEOPLE. <3

* Cekkk~, I got your Christmas card!! I came over all touched and emotional and was like, 'THIS HAS TRAVELLED ALL THE WAY FROM NEW ZEALAND TO ME!! IT'S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!' even though I know that's sort of the point of the Post Office. Thankyou ♥

* Uni is making me fat =[ Boo. I'm going to diet in January (well I'm not going to diet NOW, what d'you think I am?), you all have to be supportive.

* Music reccs, anyone?

* I start work again this afternoon, arrgh. I'm just going back to the Coop where I worked all summer, but I'm still a bit nervous. Wish me luck.

So I was sat in the common room this morning drinking tea and generally not doing much else, and my friend Loz rushes up to me and goes, 'I'VE GOT TO APOLOGISE TO YOU!!'

Me: ....Why?
Loz: Because I killed you!
Me: o__O
Loz: In my dream last night!
Me: Wha - how - why?
Loz: It was your idea! You were at my house and you were telling me how you loved to go in the washing machine to get yourself nice and clean, and you were like, 'pleeease Loz, put me in the washing machine!', so I was like, '...eh, alright,' but we decided to use some new washing tablets to try them out so I put them in the washing machine with you, but when it had finished I opened the door and THEY'D SHRUNK YOU DDD=. I was like, 'NOOOO, WHERE ARE YOOOOU?'
Danie: (listening with interest) So technically you didn't actually kill her, did you? You just shrunk her and couldn't find her.
Loz: Yes, but I didn't know where she was and I thought she was dead!! ...But then my mum pointed out that you'd wanted to go in the washing machine so it wasn't my fault, and I wouldn't go to prison or anything. So it was alright in the end.
Me: APART FROM ME BEING SHRUNKEN AND POSSIBLY DEAD, I ASSUME YOU MEAN.

I'm starting to feel insecure in my friendship group. I've noticed Loz eyeing me carefully all day, as if trying to work out how to put me in a washing machine =///.

ANYWAY, it's officially FOURTEEN SCHOOL DAYS TIL WE LEAVE FEREVER, and in case anyone doesn't know, in October I'm going to university here:

My writing looks shocking there cause I did it on Paint, but you get the idea. SOUTH COAST! THE SEA! SUNSHINE! AT LEAST SIX HOURS DRIVE FROM MY FAMILY! The good points are overwhelming. Yer all invited (Cath & I intend to romp among sand dunes and suchlike, if that appeals to anyone else. ....No?). I am so ridiculously ready to leave school it's unbelievable =/.
